About this tool
Create a smaller PDF from selected pages
Split PDF lets you create a new document containing only the pages you need. It is useful when a large PDF includes several unrelated sections or when you need to share a limited page range.
The current workflow returns one PDF containing the selected pages. It does not produce several separate files or a ZIP archive.

What page range format should I enter?+
Use individual page numbers and ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3,5,7-9. Page numbers should be positive whole numbers.
Can I extract only one page?+
Yes. Enter a single page number, such as 4, to create a new PDF containing only that page.
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?+
Yes. Enter the required pages separated by commas, for example 1,3,8,12.
Why did splitting fail?+
The page range may be invalid, the requested page may not exist, or the source PDF may be damaged, password-protected or unsupported by the backend service.
Does this tool create multiple PDF files?+
Based on the current endpoint and download flow, the tool returns one PDF containing the selected pages. It does not currently create a ZIP archive of separate PDF files.
How is my PDF processed?+
The selected file and requested page range are uploaded to Toolerd's backend service, which creates the output PDF.
